Description The Foscam R4M 4MP Super HD Smart Pan & Tilt Security Camera is designed to provide detailed and intelligent indoor monitoring for your home, office, family, and other important spaces.Featuring 4MP (2560 × 1440) Super HD resolution, the R4M captures crisp, detailed images, while integrated WDR technology helps compensate for bright glare and dark areas to provide a more balanced image. One of its key security features is Intelligent Human Detection. In addition to conventional motion and sound detection, Foscam's human-recognition technology is designed to identify human activity and reduce unnecessary alerts caused by moving pets, flying insects, and other objects. When relevant activity is detected, notifications can be pushed to connected devices. The R4M also provides a 360° panoramic view through its smart Pan/Tilt functionality. Users can control the camera directly through the app, making it easier to monitor different areas of a room without requiring multiple fixed cameras. A convenient one-button Sleeping Mode is also available when monitoring is temporarily not required. For wireless connectivity, the camera supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band WiFi. The 2.4GHz band provides longer wireless coverage, while the 5GHz band offers additional channels that are less susceptible to interference. For low-light monitoring, the R4M features 13 built-in infrared LEDs, which automatically activate in dark conditions and provide night visibility at distances of up to approximately 33 feet (10 metres).
